Summertime weddings in Chicago are some of my favorites, especially because the availability of outdoor venues! Ashley & Ryan celebrated their wedding on the rooftop of Morgan’s on Fulton; the entire vibe of the wedding was intimate and nothing short of romantic. This last spring we had the honor of curating flowers for Sarah and Jacob’s Jewish wedding at The Westin River North in Chicago. Flower arches are my thing and in Jewish wedding ceremonies, they’re known as Chuppahs! A chuppah is basically a canopy that the couple stands under during their ceremony. Flowers can be adorned all around or made focal point at the top center of the chuppah (this is the route we took—check it out below!). The spring vibes were so high with the use of mostly white and pastel flowers that so beautifully matched the bride and bridesmaids’ dresses (and the stunning lake!).
