Intimate & Romantic Wedding at The Lytle House in Chicago

We love weddings of all sizes over here! Small and intimate weddings are just as special as a big wedding. Right before spring ended, we had a blast creating flowers for Hannah and Jessie’s intimate wedding at Lytle House in Chicago! They were going for a vibrant, cheery, and fun look. Check out the gorg photos (especially the artsy film photos!) by Jess Diaz to see what we did for them!

We always love a good “His & Hers” moment! Hannah’s lush bouquet really popped against her classy white dress. To stay on theme with the vibrant and cheery look, we worked with spring colors of coral, orange, lavender, medium pink, and lime green. The flowers woven into her bridal bouquet were amaranthus, peonies, delphinium, lisanthus, stock, snapdragons, ranunculus, and roses. For the groom’s boutonniere, we kept it simple with a peach ranunculus, a touch of greenery, and a pop of lime green lisianthus. This color palette contrasted beautifully with his deep forest green suit!

The ceremony space was really giving “romantic backyard wedding” vibes—perfect for the couple’s desired intimate wedding. The lush greenery in the space made it look like a hidden garden. The couple said their “I Do’s” between these 2 tall white pedestals adorned with colorful arrangements on top!

We love the look of the flowers in film!

The colorful decor for the reception popped against the lightly-toned exposed brick backdrop. For the long dinner tables, we used low white dishes with touches of floral and greenery. No romantic wedding reception is complete without candles so we used orange and peach taper candles with white holders to complete the look.

Congratulations Hannah & Jessie! Thank you for inviting us to be part of your special day. We’re wishing you all of the love & happiness in this new chapter!
