Glam Summer Wedding at Fairlie

We’re so fortunate to work with so many different kinds of clients with their own individual styles. We’ve worked at Fairlie in West Loop a ton, but every wedding is completely different from the next! We had a blast working with Audrey and Matt on their glamorous wedding in the peak of summertime Chi. Audrey and Matt tied the knot on July 22 this past summer, and it was definitely one for the books! They added so many gorgeous decor details and we were lucky enough to come along for the ride. Many thanks to their vendor team, especially Ariele Chapman Photography and Bustle and Lace, for making their big day so special. Read more about it and check out their photos below.

The ladies got ready in the room upstairs at Fairlie, and we glam’ed it up! We hung a vignette of smilax greenery and disco balls above the seating area to make the space photo-op worthy.

We loved making Audrey’s loose and natural bouquet, with mostly white floral and a pop of neutral tones. The main stars were white orchids, toffee roses, and peach garden roses.

For Matt, we created a boutonniere that was made of greenery of varying textures. We love the way it looked against his cream colored suit and navy tie.

Audrey’s gals wore sleek, silky, gold dresses that totally went with the glam theme. The bouquets that we made for them were created with white flowers (roses, orchids) and greenery (olive branches, eucalyptus). So pretty!

The guys all looked great in their tan colored suits and boutonnieres made of greenery. The whole wedding party looked like a bunch of glam stunnas!

Alright, so this is where all the floral decor details really get good. Ya ready?!

For the ceremony space, we hung (from the 30ft ceilings, yikes!!) a floral backdrop against the brick wall. We also hung a huge ring of floral and greenery from the ceiling. Clusters of candles and greenery lined the ceremony aisles. It’s neat to see how all of these elements placed together create visual layers for the guests to feast their eyes on.

We decorated the staircase leading down to the ceremony space with greenery and candles for a romantic entrance. We also decorated the adorable tuk tuk that comes with the venue, with matching florals and greenery. The “just married” banners were the icing on the cake!

The ceremony was so sweet and personalized. The ring bearers accompanied the groom down the aisle in the cutest way possible! The older one pushed the younger one in a little wagon covered in flowers and eucalyptus. Talk about a smooth (and adorable) ride!

Their sweet pup also had a moment to shine when they walked down the aisle. We adorned them with a wreath made of greenery. Such a good doggie!

We love that Fairlie has an upstairs balcony where the photographer can get shots from up above. Their photographer really captured all their florals’ good sides.

Audrey and Matt’s seating chart setup was unique and beautiful. They hung a sign that said “Our Favorites”, and below it, they listed each guest in alphabetical order on pieces of toffee colored paper with white text. Each card was clipped to a rustic grid that sat behind a large metal circle. We decorated the top with flowers and greenery, lit some tall white candles below, added a hedge of flowers on both sides and a vignette of live plants to warm the place up.

After the ceremony, the space was flipped for dinner. A cute neon sign that said “me & you” was hung in front of the mounted floral arrangement on the brick wall. That became the backdrop for the sweetheart table.

We placed long garlands made of various greens onto the center of the dinner tables. We loved how the long, wooden dinner tables looked with beige table runners. We repurposed the ceremony candles and placed them onto the tablescape as well.

We provided a piece of olive foliage( a symbol of peace) for each table setting next to the arched menu. These charger plates are to die for!

When the sun goes down, the candles really shine.

We also dressed their unique, three-tiered wedding cake by Bittersweet Pastry in fresh blooms. The texture on one side of the cake looked so cool!

Congratulations again, Audrey and Matt! Thank you for entrusting us to bring your dream wedding flowers to life.
