4th of July Wedding....Sparks Flew

What a fun night to get married, right?  Ben and Nicole were married on July 4th outside of the Cheney House Mansion in Oak Park and their reception followed at the Greenhouse Loft in my beloved neighborhood, Logan Square.

Texture was key to the floral design especially with a classic all white wedding look.  We rented unique vintage brass vases from Refind Joy for all of the arrangements.  Brass chalices filled with little puffs of babysbreath decorated the cocktail tables while larger brass urns were featured on the escort card table and the dessert bar.  Brass compotes were filled with succulents, roses, peonies, dahlias, queen anne's lace and gold seeded eucalyptus.  The head table was especially breathtaking with an abundance of white flowers in vintage brass compotes lined down the center atop a white lace runner on wooden farm tables.  Gorgeous vintage china at each place setting was provided Chicago Vintage Weddings

I am so happy we didn't have to take the 4th of July theme too literally!  I am not a fan of red, white and blue flowers and luckily the couple wasn't either.   They did, however, throw in some really cute (and tasteful) touches to celebrate America!  Check out the groom's socks!

It was such a pleasure working with Nicole and Ben- seriously dream clients!  I wish them both a life filled with love and sparks!
