Vibrant Garden Disco Wedding at The Arbory
Spring and summer weddings are always some of our favorites over here because of the fun and vibrant colors couples are drawn to during this time. Flowers are the perfect way to weave in the energy of the season you’re getting married in! Amanda and Matt chose a color palette that screamed spring—light muted pink, white, light peach, lavender, soft yellow, and a pop of coral. Spring was in the air and you couldn’t help smile and brighten up at the sight of this gorg color scheme. The fun didn’t stop there! One of our favorite elements to play with were the hanging disco that we hung from the ceilings of The Arbory in Chicago. Read more about their wedding below.
The couple had their personal photos taken on the urban streets of Chicago outside of The Arbory. The hues of bright colors in Amanda’s wedding bouquet popped perfectly with that brick backdrop (a theme you’ll see more of in the wedding!). Amanda carried a loose and airy shaped bouquet made of peonies, ranunculus, stock, garden roses, and cottage yarrow. And of course, we couldn’t forget our dapper groom! His matching bout really stood out against his blue suit.
The ceremony was held inside of The Arbory and it was really giving rustic dreamscape vibes. The brick wall was the perfect element to amplify the hanging asymmetrical floral element. We added an array of flowers including tufts of dyed limonium for a fluffy, light and airy shape. The cafe lights added a romantic and dream-like ambiance to the ceremony. What a way to say “I do”!
Remember those disco balls ;) ? We had so much fun weaving in this sparkly element with the contrast of the smilax vines! It was giving “chic party in the garden”. This visual display was added throughout the entire space with a cluster near the aisle and a cluster near the middle of the dance floor (you gotta have disco balls on the dance floor!).
The reception wasn’t short of color. We love having fun ways to weave in pops of color that’s beyond the flowers. The reception dinner tables were decorated with pink taper candles that accentuated the bright spring floral centerpieces (matching the bride’s bouquet, of course). A simple addition of creative flare like this makes such a difference!
The hanging floral element above the ceremony altar was repurposed above their sweetheart table. The exposed brick with these playful romantic colors are giving EVERYTHING.
Congratulations Amanda & Matt! It was such a gift to be part of this special day of yours.
