Elegant, Minimalist White Roses & Greenery for Royal Melbourne Country Club Wedding

One of our favorite parts about being a wedding florist is that we get to bring so many different floral visions to life. Sarah and Steven came to us with an idea of having their wedding flowers be classic, elegant, and minimalist, and we were pumped to bring that to fruition. They focused on neutral colors - mostly ivory, black, and green - throughout their wedding day, and it created such a chic and timeless look. They tied the knot at Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove, Illinois. Keep reading and see their gorg wedding photos by Rebecca Shehorn Photography below!

The bride carried a simple bouquet comprised of all white roses. To ensure a more modern look, we reflexed the petals (turned each petal out)and we grouped them together in a natural cluster rather than being in a perfectly round bouquet. Her bridesmaids had similar bouquets, just slightly more petite. The white bouquets looked awesome against their silky, coffee brown dresses.

Sarah and Steven had their wedding in mid-October, when the leaves were just starting to turn golden, and fall to the ground. The perfect time for the most gorgeous wedding photos!

Steven and his best guys wore black tuxes and bowties. We finished off their looks by providing them with white ranunculus and greenery boutonnieres. They looked dapper AF! Shout out to their officiant who also joined the photo op ;-)

Their wedding ceremony was held outdoors in the crisp fall air. We created two floral hedges for their aisle entrance using flowers like white roses, hydrangeas, dahlias, delphinium, and greenery. For the ceremony backdrop, we made an asymmetrical deconstructed arch using the same kinds of white flowers and greenery. With the classic white chairs and green grass, the ceremony setup looked super elegant!

Sarah and Steven exchanged their vows and became Mr. and Mrs.! Woot woot.

Inside of the country club, we transformed the space into a chic, white floral and greenery haven drenched in candlelight. We hung greenery within the iron chandeliers to add some height to their decor. The dinner tables were adorned in a minimalist and classic fashion - white linens, napkins, menus, place cards, candles, and of course flowers. There were two different style of dinner table decor - one had a collection of white taper candles, pillar candles, and votives with greenery strewn about. The other style was comprised of a low clear vessel with a floral arrangement in a loose and natural style. It was surrounded by white taper candles in gold holders and some pleated votives. So pretty!

Love the white wax seal on their menus! The champagne chiavari chairs went so well with the gold candle holders.

They had a gorgeous custom welcome sign created on an arched mirror, and we obvi added a pop of florals and greenery to sit in front of it. For their simple, four tiered white wedding cake, we adorned it with some fresh blooms - white roses, dahlias, and greenery.

Cheers to you, Sarah and Steven! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together. Thanks for letting us add to your special day!
