Little Wedding on a Prairie
Elburn, Illinois is home to the eco-chic Heritage Prairie Farms where Sara & Yuri said "I Do" last September. Beneath the solid limbs of an old oak tree stood an aisle lined by white chairs with clusters of white and yellow blooms and green foliage tied to the end of the rows. A birch structure with large hydrangea and garlands of greenery framed the couple. Sara carried a loose bouquet of fluffy white dahlias and roses, bright yellow ranunculus and supple green succulents; Yuri had a succulent boutonniere tied with twine to match.
The head table held a trailing green garland with lively white & yellow arrangements in rustic wood boxes and votive candles interspersed. Guest's tables donned similar organic floral in wooden box vessels to compliment the prairie feel of the late summer night reception. Flowers included: white dahlias, yellow football mums, white stock, dill flower, white polo roses, white spray roses and seeded eucalyptus.
