A Step Back in Time

Fab Flora was asked to contribute flowers to a styled photo shoot at the Pittsfield Building, a newly revealed event space in Chicago.  The Pittsfield Building was built in 1927 and is a gorgeous work of architecture.  The atrium of the building is now available to rent out for weddings or corporate events.  We were the first to have access and decorate the space to show others the potential.

Old Hollywood and the roaring 20's have made a huge comeback in the wedding industry.  The glamor and elegance of that era are being appreciated once more.  The centerpieces featured white ostrich feathers, oriental lilies, dendrobium orchids, roses, hydrangea, agonis and palms.

The bride and her maid of honor carried white bouquets with a natural free flowing look including draping feathers and a unique textured dark purple agonis.  The groom's boutonniere was a lovely white orchid bloom with a white feather and dark purple berries.
