Elegant Garden Wedding at Montebello Estate

It isn’t super often that we venture out of Chicago city limits– but we do on special occasions! This time we headed over to Lemont, which is about 30 miles Southwest of Chicago. Lemont is home to a unique and gorgeous venue called the Montebello Estate. This estate overlooks the largest wildflower preserve in Illinois. The grounds are covered in lush greenery and flowers. We loved working with Mike and Dana to bring their wedding decor dreams to life! Their florals added so much whimsy as well as elegant detail (peep the ornate gazebo that we dressed up in fresh blooms!). The weather gods were on their side that day, and they were able to host their whole wedding day outdoors. What a beautiful place to spend the day and evening! Half of the bridesmaids wore floral print dresses and the other half wore solid sage green ones. All the bridesmaids held petite bouquets that matched the bride’s. We loved how the bride had a subtle floral pattern on her white wedding dress. We are all about the floral details!

For wedding ceremony decor, we adorned the ornate gazebo with fresh white flowers and smilax greenery. We included some dripping delphinium, as well as white hydrangea and spray roses. The monochromatic florals and greenery created an elegant and chic look. We also scattered white rose petals to the ceremony aisle. The crystal chandelier was the icing on the cake! It all looked so stunning!

Romee Willow Florals adorned the gazebo at Monte Bello Estate with white fresh florals.

The dinner tables were were decorated with pastel blooms in vintage milk glass vessels and vintage inspired votives. Floral included delphinium, dahlias, cosmos, roses, and lisianthus. We love how the vintage blue and white dinner plates made the blue delphinium pop!

Their sweetheart table was placed right next to the grandfather clock, and they picked stunning blue arm chairs to match it. We created a floral piece full of colorful florals and greenery, and added some romantic candlelight. The bride and groom definitely had the best seats in the house (well, garden)!

When the day turned into night, the candles were lit, and the sparkling bistro lights were turned on overhead. The bride changed into her second outfit, complete with her dancing shoes (love a costume change!).

Congratulations to the beautiful couple! We were delighted to work with you and to bring your dream florals to life. Cheers, Dana and Mike!
