Woodland in Chicago
Chicago, with all it's beauty, is an urban, concrete jungle. When a bride comes with a vision of holding a woodland landscape in her hands- we welcomed the unique challenge. Raquel and Ian exchanged their vows in the garden of Firehouse Chicago in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. She held a one of a kind bouquet filled with moss, thistle, ferns, white dendrobium orchid blooms, and delicate white wax flower.
Carrying the outdoors inside, we decorated the natural wood farm tables with lush garlands of ferns. A clear glass terrarium welcomed guests to take a peak into nature. Sure, hints of the city broke through, but over all this couple was able to escape into the wilderness as they started the perfectly wild adventure of marriage together.
Special thank you to Michelle at Firehouse Chicago for being an amazing venue manager to work with. And an equally special Thank You to the talented Tuan of Tuan B and Co for capturing all the elements of this day!
