Bottles and Blooms at Boarding House!

On August 1st, 2015, this darling couple made their love official in the heart of Chicago. Amanda and Dan said "I Do" at The Boarding House among raw brick walls, hanging green bottles and bright blooms of fuchsia, pink and peach.

Amanda's organic-round bouquet featured bursts of garden roses, dahlias, thistle and dusty miller with pops of textured greens.  Dan sported a boutonniere comprised of a small cluster of peach spray roses and the same pop of thistle to complete the look.

Inside The Boarding House we kept the raw vintage look with green and clear glass bottles of various shapes holding colorful blooms of each focal flower surrounded by champagne votives for cocktail hour.  Dinner tables held cascading roses, ranunculus, thistle and hydrangea in low footed compote vases with simple burlap numbers to guide guests to their seats.  We also did a fun installation of floral clusters on the green picture frame wall.

It is always the details that make a wedding special and unique to each couple.  And this summer day was no different; congrats Amanda and Dan!  Thank you for letting us be a part of your big day.  And a special thank you to Mark Federighi Photography for capturing each moment to perfection and to Naturally Yours Events for coordinating and planning.
